The Vision of Escaflowne ~ The Dracoinian Sphere"

Hitomi sat against the door, her hands wrapped around her legs. She had been sitting there for the last half hour, waiting for someone to come, for anyone to come. Then like someone was reading her mind, the door flung open. Hitomi went flying backwards, and had hit the back of her head on the ground.

"Owwwwwwwwww!" Hitomi's eyes winced open, and noticed the black figure from before standing above her.

Hitomi bent forward and staggered to her feet. She stepped quickly over to the far side of the room, and then she turned around and stared at the black figure.

"Falcon! Why are you doing this! We all thought you were dead!" screamed Hitomi as she raised her clenched fists up to her chest. But the figure just stood there, staring at her. "Falcon!!!! Answer Me!!" yelled Hitomi.

"Falcon? .... My name is not Falcon." said the black figure. Hitomi lowered her hands to her sides. "My name is Dravo."

"Dravo? ......" whispered Hitomi. Dravo stepped forward into the light, revealing what he looked like.

Dravo looked a lot like falcon except his bangs were longer, and his long strandy hair ran down to his waist, he didn't have the tattoo tear under his right eye, or the artificial arm. He was wearing a black breast plate armor that had a white outline of a dragon in the center. underneath that, he wore a baggy black top tucked into black jeans. Wrapped around his waist was a two-inch thick black belt with silver clasps, along with that a double edged sword tied to the belt. His boots were metallic and they rose up to his knees, making a stylish design. But the cape he wore is what got Hitomi's attention, it was pitch black and it looked like leather. Dravo walked closer to Hitomi and stared at her up and down, and a evil smirk spread across his face.

"how beautiful ......." he said below a whisper.

Hitomi eyes went wide as Dravo raised his arms and eased them on her shoulders, and started to pull her close to his body.

"Dravo!? ......" stammered Hitomi, but she was cut off as she saw Dravo lean in closer to her. Then everything in front of her eyes started to fade away, and then it went black.

Van followed the five guys that had staggered out of the saloon. So far he hasn't been noticed by the men. The men were singing now and had their arms around each other's shoulders. A few of them staggered sideways, but they kept on trudging on.

"Man how far is it? ......" moaned Van under his breath. "I don't know how much I can take, of them singing." Van raised his hand to his forehead, for he was getting a headache. "And I thought Merle was BAD!"

Just then one of the men turned around and stared down the road.

"Hey what's wrong?" boomed a voice, as they stopped and turned around.

"I just thought I heard something?" said a scruffy voice

Everything was quiet, Van hid behind an old Oak Tree, pressing his back against the trunk. Just then a weird little creature that resemble a squirrel and a rabbit, jumped out of the bushes and leaped in front of the five men.

"You idiot! It's just a raquel!" said a loud voice and he slapped one of the men on the up side of the head.

"Come on! Where almost there!" boomed a deep voice.

And all five of the men started to walk on down the path. Van took a deep breath of relief, and he too started to walk on behind them.

"Hmmmm! This is good!" stuttered Allen, as he shoved a spun full of the burnt stew, into his mouth. "The best I ever had." Allen clenched his eyes and swallowed the lumpy liquid down his throat.

"Thanx! .... I know your just saying that though." said Lila as she rolled her wooden spoon in the lumpy substance.

"Yuck! This stwuff stinks!" growled Dwalden, as he plugged his nose and swallowed. "But at least it's bwetter then wast time."

"Oh be quiet!" said Lila as she glared at Dwalden.

Dwalden turned around and stuck his tong out at her. Allen smiled to himself as the two started to quarrel.

"So! Where are your parents?" asked Allen, trying to break up the argument.

Everything went silent. The two kids slumped back in to their seats, and started to play with the stew.

"We ..... we don't have any parents." stuttered Lila.

"They dwied." cried Dwalden

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know." said Allen, guilt started to flood in as the twins started to cry.

"B..I...N..G..O and Bingo was his name o!" came a bunch of loud voices that were out of tune from outside.

"What's going on out there?" asked Allen as he raised himself up from the chair, and started to walk over to the door.

"Oh no! It's thwem!!" stammered Dwalden as he crawled under the table.

"Who?" asked Allen.

"There a bunch of men from town! There nothing but trouble. They always give my brother and I trouble every time!" said Lila as she kneeled on her chair.

"HEY TWINS!!!!" came a loud voice. "WE WANT TO TALK TO YOU!"

"Ohhhhhhhh Noooooo! What will we do!!" stuttered Lila.

Allen looked at the twins for a few minutes, they were absolutely terrified of the men outside. "Don't worry little ones. I'll protect you!" stated Allen and he walked towards the door.

((outside))

"Huh someone's coming out!?" said a scruffy voice.

Allen walked out of the little cabin and gently closed the door behind him. He stood there for a moment on the porch eyeing the five men. {Hmf. There drunk, they will be no problem for me to handle on my own.} thought Allen as he rested his left hand on his sword.

"Ha! So this must be the rogue knight that the twins were saying in town, this morning. He's nothing but a pretty boy!" laughed a high pitched voice.

"Yah! He's nothing but a pansy!! Imagine letting a GIRL join the forces!!" boomed a deep voice.

All the men started to laugh, and slap there knees. Allen glared at them angrily, his grasp on his sword tightened.

"This might not be as hard as we expected boy's! Come on lets get him!" yelled the loud voice, as he motioned for his friends to follow him. The men started to withdraw their swords.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!!" shouted Allen. "I am a knight of Asturia. I am bond to the laws of knight hood, withdrawal your swords and I shall answer with my own." stated Allen.

"Ha! It's five against one! You don't stand a chance!" said a scruffy voice.

"Then let's make it even!"

The five men spun around and noticed a young straggly boy wearing brown baggy pants and a red tank top.

"VAN!!!" yelled Allen, as Van walked out of the shadows.

"What a BOY!!! You got to be kidding. You think that the two of you can take US on! Hahahahahaha ...... This is sooo funny it's bringing tears to my eyes." laughed the loud voice.

Van growled under his breath, as the other four men started to chime in.

"Okay fine then, enough with the jokes, and drop your swords! Or the twins will get it." yelled the loud voice. But Van and Allen stood their ground. "Fine then we'll take ya by force then. GET THEM!"

Two of the men ran up to Van swords drawn, and two more went up to Allen. Allen and Van stood their ground and waited for the drunken men to reach them.

CLANK! SMACK! SHWING! CLANK! ..... THUD!

Just as soon as it started it ended, four out of the five men were down, unhurt but moaning in pain. The fifth one stood there in shock, as his men fell to the ground like wusses.

"Your lucky we only used the back sides of our swords, or you wouldn't be breathing right now." said Van in a monologue voice. "Now leave! And take your men with you and don't come back!!" yelled Van as he turned his gaze to the fifth men still standing, with his mouth dropped open in astonishment.

All four men staggered to their feet holding their sides in pain, and walked over to the fifth men. They turned and looked at Van and Allen.

"GO NOW!!" yelled Allen as he pointed his sword at the men.

The men growled something underneath their breath, and then left. When they reached the entrance of the woods the fifth men turned around. "YOU HAVEN'T HEARD THE LAST OF US!!!" and with that the five men retreated into the woods.

Van took a deep sigh of relief, and rested his hands on his hips. "I see that you still have a way with people Allen." said Van, as he stared at Allen.

"Van long time no see! How did you find me?" asked Allen as he walked over to Van.

"I followed the buffoons. I heard them talking about a rogue knight, so I decided to investigate. Though there were a couple of times, that I was tempted to put them out of their misery when they started singing." said Van as he raised his right hand to his forehead. Allen just laughed.

"YAAAAAYYYY!!!! Allen won!!!" came excited voices, from inside the cabin.

Van looked over Allen's shoulder to see two children standing in a doorway jumping with joy. Then the two children started to run up to Allen, and then stopped at his side, tugging on his side. {They remind me Merle! ..... Poor Allen!} snickered Van to himself.

"You won!!! You beat those awful men!!" said Lila excitedly.

"Your stwong!!" yelled Dwalden.

"Hey? Who's that?" asked Lila, as she and her brother stared at Van.

"That's Van. My friend." said Allen

Both of the twins faces lit up with excitement. Van staggered backwards as the twins leaped on to his chest, making him to fall backwards to the ground.

"You swaved us! Those awful men were nwothing but twouble! Oh my nwame is Dwalden!"

"My name is Lila!" giggled Lila, Van's stomach started to growl. Lila looked at Van, a large smile spread across her face. "Do you want some stew? It's good!"

Both of the twins then lifted themselves off of Van and ran into the cabin, to set another chair at the table. Allen reached his hand down, and pulled Van up to his feet. He then wrapped one of his arms around Van's shoulder, and smirked. Van looked at Allen suspiciously, he knew something was up.

"Well Van. I hope you have a strong stomach." smirked Allen, and they both disappeared into the cabin, to eat.

((a few minutes later inside the cabin))

"What is this stuff? Is it still alive? ....." said a disgusted Van.

((In Fanelia, Gaea))

Millerna, and the crusade had reached Fanelia and have loaded Escaflowne on to the crusade as well as Scherazade. Voris has heard nothing from his search party, and has feared the worst for Lord Van and his companions. After a short briefing with the council Millerna, leaves Fanelia once again on the crusade to search for Allen and the others. All hopes are now fading away for the worst possible options. That Zaibech has once again risen once again.

"Oh Gaddess. Where could they be! It's been almost two days, and no one has seen any traces of them." said Millerna as she sat in a chair in Allen's quarters. "What if we never find them!?" tears started to fill Millerna's eyes.

Gaddess and Reeden stood in the doorway silently. Then Gaddess slowly walked over to Millerna and rested his left hand on her shoulders. Millerna raised her hand to her face and wiped away her tears, and then looked up at Gaddess and then over at Reeden.

"Don't threat Millerna, if I know Allen. He's still alive and well." said Reeden, as he lowered his hands to his waist.

"Reeden's right! Allen would never give up no matter what! We'll find him." said Gaddess, as he lifted his hand off of Millerna's shoulder. A small smile spread across Millerna's face, and her tears started to reside.

"If only we had some idea on what happened to them?" questioned Millerna, as she lowered her gaze to the burning candle on Allen's desk.

"It was a blue pillar of light. ........." came a muffle voice.

Everyone looked around the room to see who it what was. Then from underneath the table, the Moleman appeared. Millerna shoved herself away from the table, knocking over the chair.

"Ahhhhh what are you doing here!!!" yelled Gaddess, as he grabbed the Molemen's top and dragged him out from under the table. "And what was that of a blue pillar!?"

"I only know in what I saw!" sniveled the Molemen. "I was out in the garden collecting some flowers. ....." Gaddess glared at the Molemen, knowing oh to well on what the Molemen was really up too. "Hee hee ..... Well anyway there I was in the garden. Lord Van and Allen were sparing, and Merle was cheering them on. When they were finished all three of them were gathered together talking, when a strange bright blue light came from the sky, and surrounded the three of them. When the light was gone, so were they."

"A blue light? .... From the sky?" asked Millerna.

The Molemen nodded. Gaddess glared at the Molemen. "How do we know your telling the truth!?" growled Gaddess, and he brought the Molemen's face nearer to his.

"Honest it's the truth!" stammered the Molemen.

"Hmmm. Maybe he's telling the truth." said Millerna, Gaddess looked at Millerna in shock. "Well remember that time when Allen, Van, and Hitomi were spirited away to Zaibech, and that time when Hitomi was enveloped in the same blue light and was sent back to the Mystic Moon." Gaddess lowered the Molemen to the ground, and lifted his hand to his chin.

"So your saying. That they could of been sent to the Mystic Moon, or to another country on Gaea?" said Gaddess, Millerna nodded.

"If that's so! How do we find them!?" said Reeden.

"We keep looking. It's the only thing that we can do. For now." stated Millerna.

All four of them stood there silently, thinking on what to do. {Hmmmm maybe it's time for me to go.} thought the Molemen, as he started to walk quietly out of the room.

"Hold it right there!" Gaddess swung around and grabbed the Molemen by the back of the neck. "Your not going anywhere!"

"Awwww! Come on I told you everything I know!" sniveled the Molemen.

Gaddess smirked and looked at the Molemen. "But your are only witness. ..... Reeden! Take are humble guest to the cell!" said Gaddess, and he shoved the Molemen into Reeden's grasp.

"Ohh come on! Not the dungeon again!" whined the Molemen, and with that he was escorted out of the room.

Millerna walked past Gaddess as he started to chuckle to himself as he watched the Molemen being dragged away by the whiskers. She walked down the small corridor by herself thinking about what the Molemen said. {A blue pillar from the sky? That would explain why we can't find Allen and the others, if they were teleported away.} Millerna opened a door, and walked into her quarters. When the automatic doors closed, she leaned her back against them.{The Mystic Moon? ..... I wonder? ......}

((Japan, Earth))

"I'm sorry Miss Kanzaki. There has been no trace of your daughter yet." said cop 1. "But don't give up hope, I'm sure she is fine."

Miss Kanzaki lowered her eyes to the ground. {Hitomi. Where are you?}

"Will you be all right?" asked cop 2.

"Yes I'll be fine. Just please find my daughter." said Miss Kanzaki, as she raised her gaze at the two cops.

"Don't worry mam. We'll find her! You just go on inside and rest. We'll call you if anything comes up." said cop 1, and then both of the cops turned around and left.

Miss Kanzaki turned around and gently shut the door behind her. There in front of her stood Amano and Yukari, with worried expressions on their faces. A faint smile spread across Miss Kanzaki's face, trying to reassure Amano and Yukari that everything will be all right.

"Any word?" asked Yukari. Miss Kanzaki shook her head. "Don't worry Miss Kanzaki. They'll find Hitomi. You just wait and see!" Yukari smiled at Miss Kanzaki.

"Thank-you Yukari. But I think I'll go lay down for awhile." Yukari and Amano moved to the side as Miss Kanzaki walked past them, and walked into her bedroom.

Amano and Yukari turned towards the door and left Hitomi's house.

"Oh Amano. What happened to Hitomi!? Where is she?" stammered Yukari as tears started to form in her eyes.

Amano looked over at Yukari, tears started to run down her check. She was trying to hold them back but it wasn't working. Amano stopped abruptly and grabbed Yukari's shoulders, and turned her to face him. Yukari had a shock expression on her face, and she looked up at Amano, who was staring at her.

"Don't worry Yukari. Hitomi will be all right. They'll find her just wait and see." said Amano calmly.

Yukari's eyes started to fill with tears again, and she flung her arms around Amano's waist and buried her face into his silk white top. Amano wrapped his arms around her as she cried in his arms.

"Why are you still following me?!" groaned Ryu, as he brought both of his arms around the back of his neck.

"I'm not following you!" snapped Merle. "Your just heading in the same direction that I am. That's all."

Ryu looked over his shoulder to see Merle a few feet behind him. He then smirked and turned his head back to the front, and kept on walking. BAWAHO!!!

"WHAT WAS THAT!!!!!" shrieked Merle, as she ran up closer to Ryu.

"Man..... Girls are sooo pathetic!" snorted Ryu. "Don't you know anything! It was only a Howller."

"Well SORRY! I didn't know!" snarled Merle.

"That's true. Girl's are just plain stupid anyways. I shouldn't be surprised." a smirk spread across Ryu's face, as he noticed Merle's tail stand on end in anger.

"WHY YOU!!!!" screamed Merle, as she leaped on top of Ryu's back, making him fall on his face. "Serves you right! I don't know why I'm following you!! Where probably lost!" said Merle as she climbed to her feet.

Ryu lifted himself off the ground and rubbed the dirt off of his pants. "So you ARE following me!" he snarled as he spun around to chase Merle, but missed her and rammed into a tree.

BANG!

"Hmf. Man are sooo thick headed!" smirked Merle as she licked her hand.

Ryu turned around and glared at Merle. He then stormed past her and marched through the woods. Merle who was sitting in a safe place on a low branch, perked her ears up and turned her gaze at Ryu's figure, that was walking away from her.

BAWAHO!!!!

Merle's fur stood on end. "HEY WAIT FOR ME!!!!" she screamed and she leaped off of the branch and started to run after Ryu.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!" screamed Ryu as he started to run away from Merle, who was coming after him. "ARGH! GO AWAY!!!!"
