Ah ha ha ha ha (runs around the house screaming) Okay calm down (breaths slowly) Sorry about that I'm so excited the third Chapter complete. Woo Hoo! Now where we? Ah yes the mystery people. Hmmm what's gonna happen? What's so special about the five days till Hitomi's B.day? Well read on and you'll find out.

I just want to say that I do not own the characters from the show, but I do own the characters that the original's meet. You'll understand when you read.

The Vision of Escaflowne ~ The Dracoinian Sphere"

((When everyone awakes it's another day, leaving 3 days left to Hitomi's birthday. Millerna is looking for Allen, and the others in the crusade on Gaea. Hitomi is reported as missing on Earth, and Allen and the others are scattered through out the new world.))

"Oh Gaddess! Where could they be?" asked Millerna, as she looked out the windows of the crusade, scanning the landscape.

"Don't worry your highness. Allen and the others will be fine. Don't worry we'll find them." said Gaddess confidently. Gaddess turned around to Reeden. "Head back to Fanelia." Millerna turned around to Gaddess, wondering what he was up too. "Where going to go pick up Escaflowne. You never know, ..... when we find them they might need it." said Gaddess as a smile spread across his face.

Millerna nodded her head in acceptance, and then turned back around and stared out the window. {Oh Allen. ...... Where are you?}thought Millerna, as she clasped her hands together in front of her chest. A single tear dripped down her cheek.

"Hey who's that?"

"I down't know?"

"Is it dead?"

"I down't know?"

"Let's take it home!"

"Okay."

((A hour later))

"Arghhhhhh ....... Where am I?" Allen sat up, and rubbed his head. "Hitomi, Van, Merle!!!" Allen looked around frantically.

He then noticed that he was in a small cabin, sitting on a straw bed. There were three other beds along the far wall, a small wooden table and three chairs in the middle of the room. A fireplace on the right wall, with a cauldron brewing over a fire, and a few wooden toys scattered on the ground.

"Oh he's awake!? Dow's your head hurt?"

Allen looked above his head to see a little boy around the age of 3, hanging out of an open window.

"Oi! Dwalden don't bother him!" shouted a little girl from outside.

"Bwut, he's aweady awake! Lila!" screamed the boy. Then Dwalden jumped into the room landing a few inches away from Allen, and Lila ran in from the front door.

The two children stood there staring at Allen. Both of them were twins, they had long spiky brown hair, deer like ear's and tail's, and big puppy dog eyes. The little girl was wearing an old dirty white cotton slip, which she designed to be a summer dress, and little boy was wearing a pair of ripped brown shorts. They stared at Allen silently, observing him up and down.

"Who are you?" asked Allen, as he lowered his legs over the sides of the bed.

"I'm Lila!"

"I'm Dwalden!"

"Where TWINS!!!" they chimed together.

"What's yours?" asked Dwalden, and he then slumped down to the ground, and his sister copied.

"My name is Allen Schezar, I'm a loyal knight and king of Asturia, Gaea." said Allen

"Gaea? Asturia? Where's that? I nwever heard that name before." asked Dwalden.

"Asturia is the country that I am from, and Gaea is the planet that where on." said Allen, as he smiled at the curious pups.

"Gaea? Are planet isn't called Gaea." said Lila

Allen looked dumbfounded. "Is this Earth then, little one's?"

"No. What a silly nawme!" chuckled Dwalden

"It's called Dai Ginga! Silly" said Lila, as she too started to laugh.

((Dai Ginga means Great Galaxy))

{Another world?} thought Allen, as he rested his hands behind him to keep his balance. { I wonder if the others are here also?} (sniff sniff) "Is something burning?" asked Allen as he sniffed the air.

"Oh NO the stew!!" yelled Lila, as she scrambled to her feet, and ran over to the fireplace.

"OWWWwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!" hissed Merle, as she rubbed her head. "Where am I?"

Merle stood up and looked around her surroundings. She was in a cave, a damp cool cave.

"Heelllllooooooo!!! ......." Merle perked her ears, but all she could hear was her echo. "Rats! I'm stuck all by myself, in this creepy damp cave. While Hitomi is probably groping over Lord Vans arm. MEOWR" Merle's tail stood on end and her fur sizzled all the way to the tip.

Then a beam of light from a crevasse in the roof of the cave, shown in and illuminated the cave. Merle's eyes widened and went into star shapes.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhh! Shiny!" owed Merle.

The cave walls were covered in diamonds, which sparkled and spewed out colors all over the place. Merle immediately started to collect and stuff as much as she could into her hidden pockets in her dress. Merle jumped to wall to wall, yipping with joy. (slurp, slurp) Merle jumped on to a pillar of stone under the crevasse and listened intently. (slurp, slurp)

"What is that? WHO'S THERE!!!! shouted Merle ..... nothing.

Merle sat on the pillar, she stared around the cave, straining to see what was making all the noise. Then she noticed something moving in the shadows.

"Huh? What the? ....." A long black snake slithered out of the darkness. "Oh it's just a stupid snake. For a second I thought it was something dangerous or something." Then all of a sudden a sharp pain rung over Merle's entire body. "MEOWR!!!!!!!" screamed Merle as she leaped into the air. Merle turned her head to see one of those black snakes biting on to her tail. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! MY TAIL!!!!"

Merle grabbed the snake on her tail and pried it's mouth open, and then tossed it into the shadows. Merle stood up on the pillar of stone and scanned the surroundings. Thousands over thousands of black snakes slithered out of the walls. Merle gasped in horror as one of them lifted it's head up and opened it's jaws. Hundreds of razor sharp teeth dripped saliva.

"LORD VAN HELP!!!!!!" yelled Merle. Then just like her prayers were being answered a rope dangled down in front of her. "Huh? .... Oh Lord Van came!" said a very pleased Merle, and she started to climb the rope.

The black snakes shrieked and hissed as Merle was pulled through the crevasse. Merle sat on the grass beside the hole in the ground, she could hear the weird black snakes hiss and shrieks down below. Merle turned around, and noticed the brown shoes, the brown baggy pants with the sword on the side and the red top.

"Oh Lord Van! You saved me!" shrieked Merle, and lounged forward and wrapped her arms around the warm body.

"Hey! What do think your doing!?" growled a boyish voice.

Merle's eyes widened in shock. {That's not Van's voice} thought Merle. Merle slowly looked up to see a totally different face. Quickly realizing her mistake she pushed herself away from him, her face went beat red. The boy was the same build and height as Van, except he had long white hair tide into a pony tail at the back and very spiky bangs, he had big ears like Merle's, which were tinted black at the ends, a long scruffy white tail like a dog, and his eyes were a hazelnut green. The boy stared at Merle in disgust.

"Oh I'm sorry ...... I thought you were someone else." stammered Merle, as she fiddled with her tail.

"Hmf. It's all right. Honest mistake. What's your name girl" said the boy, as he started to pull up his rope. "And why were you down there with those Pythians?"

"My name is Merle, and I just woke up down there." said Merle, as she stepped away from the hole.

"Just woke up down there!" said the boy as he stared at Merle with uncertainty. Merle didn't say anything else, she just looked at the ground. "My name is Ryu. Well I got to go, see ya Merle." and he turned around and he started to walk away.

"Hey wait!" shouted Merle. "WHAT ABOUT ME! Ohhhhh if he thinks he is leaving me here, oh is he sadly mistaken." and with that Merle ran off after him.

"Hitomi? ...... " whispered Van, as he leaned himself up.

Van looked around to see where he was. He was in a fairly large room, with only a desk and chair on the left side, and a small fireplace on the right. Crosses hung on the walls, and the window behind Van was stained with different colors. Slowly Van slid his feet over the edge of the straw bed, a sharp pain stabbed his side. He looked down and noticed that his top was off and a white bandage was wrapped around his waist. Van stood up and walked over to the desk and noticed that his top was on the chair folded neatly, he reached down and grabbed his top and slid it over his head.{Where am I?} thought Van as he opened the door to his room, to reveal a long hallway. Van walked down the long hallway and came to another set of doors. Van pushed on the wooden door and walked in. He walked into the room and noticed long brown benches on either side of the wall, separated down the middle by a red carpet. He walked out to the center of the room and stood on the red carpet side ways. He looked to his right and noticed two large wooden doors, at the end of the red carpet. {The exit} thought Van, as he went to walk towards the door he stopped. Slowly Van turned around and looked up. Warm light shown through the large pixie glass stain window. Van's mouth dropped open at the picture that it protrade. On the left side was a figure of a human with white wings, drawing a sword and running to the right. On the right was another human figure with black wings, also drawing out a sword but it was facing the left. But in the middle was a pink sphere with a human figure in the center.

"So I see you like our stained window?"

Van turned around sharply to see a short chubby guy waddle his way towards him.

"What is this drawing of?" asked Van in a stern voice.

"Know know. Introductions first, it's only proper. My name is Father Whale, and you are my boy?"

"Van ..... Van Slanzar de Fanel."

"Well Van, that picture is a very old myth. Very few know the true stories, for it's been changed down the generations." the old man paused for a few seconds to catch his breath. "From what I can recollect, it's supposed to be a prophecy, a window to the future in plain english."

"A window to the future? Of what?" asked Van as he stared at the window once again.

"It's supposed to predict the future of our galaxy. A war of good vs evil." the old man pointed to the two large human figures on either side of the window.

"What about the one in the center, the one in the pink sphere?" asked Van as he looked at Father Whale.

"That I am not to sure of. No one does, that legend has stopped all together. My opinion, I think it represents hope." said Father Whale. "Well now I got to go, feel free to leave anytime Van." and with that the little chubby man waddled off.

{Hope?} thought Van. Then he turned around and left the chapel. Van stood in the doorway of the chapel and looked around. It was a small town about half the size of Fanelia, mostly consisting of small shops and houses. Van stepped down from the chapel steps and started to walk down the dirt road. While passing by a saloon, Van hears some very loud voices from inside, and he then decided to ease drop, so he get some idea on where he was.

(voices heard inside of the saloon)

"He did you hear!" came a loud voice.

"What?" said a scruffy voice.

"Those two orphans that live in the woods, came into town today saying that they found a rogue knight in the woods!" said the loud voice.

"A rogue knight!? In the woods? Yah right!" said a high pitched voice.

"Hay! Maybe we should go check it out!? If they did find a rogue knight, just think about the bounty on his head! And even if there lying to save their hides, we'll just take them and sell them for slavery. Give the world a favor you know what a mean?" said a deep booming voice.

{A rogue knight} thought Van, as he leaned against the outside wall of the saloon. {Could it be Allen?}Then there was a lot of banging around inside and then the swinging doors swung open to reveal five muscular half drunk man, walking out of the saloon laughing and plotting their plan. {Hmmmm better follow them.} thought Van, and he started to follow them, keeping in far distance and keeping out of sight.

"Huh! ...... Where am I? Ough why does my head hurt so much." said Hitomi, as she sat straight up on the bed, and put her right hand on her forehead. "What is this place?" Hitomi looked around the room that she was in.

It was a long rectangular room, with the bed on the far wall and a small writing desk beside the bed, on the desk was a single candle burning. Hitomi noticed the door on the far wall and walked over to it and turned the handle, but it was locked. Hitomi turned her back to the door and slid to the floor. She wrapped her arms around her legs and then she buried her head in her lap, and started to cry.

"Oh Van, Allen, Merle! This is all my fault! If it weren't for my stupid powers, we would never be in this mess!" Hitomi lifted her face and leaned her chin on her legs. "Mom, Yukari, Amano ..... don't worry I'll be Ok! I hope."

"So the girl Hoshino is here then?" said the low deep voice.

"Yes my Lord the girl Hoshino is residing in one of the rooms in our castle right now." said the black figure.

"Good. But what of her companions? Do they still cause any threat to my plans!" snarled the voice.

"No my Lord. They have been taken care of, they are of no threat, they are weak, they don't stand a chance in hell against our forces anyway." said the black figure as it kneeled down on one leg.

"They better not! For your sake!" said the low deep voice. "I will leave you know, don't screw up when I get back! Or else!"

"Yes Lord Baado." The black figure stood back up and smirked when Lord Baado left. "Mwhaahahahahahhhahahaha........... Now for the girl!" and with that the black figure flipped it's cape over it's shoulder and left the room.

Hmmm weird what's with all the Mwhahahahaha's (shrugs shoulders) I don't know. It just sounded good like that. And what's with this prophecy? Oh well on to the NEW characters. Ryu is one of my favorites in this story, I got his attitude from two characters from "Gundam Wing" Duo and Wufei. Duo for his sense of humor, and Wufei's sense of (does quatation marks) "Woman are pathetic" attitude, for his respect for Merle (hee hee). The twins, weelllll... I just made them up.
