Her parents looking at her weirdly and thinking to self. "Okay!? There must've been a switch at birth" runs back upstairs and sits down on the chair in front of the computer) Hee hee! I can't believe it! I'm done (giggling). Okay so this is the final part, and I hope you liked the story so far that I wrote.

The Vision of Escaflowne ~ The Dracoinian Sphere"

((That night))

Van steered Escaflowne towards the crusade ((in dragon mode)), Hitomi had her arms wrapped around Van's chest from behind. Van stared straight ahead as she buried her head into the back of his top. "Hitomi." said Van calmly, as he stared straight ahead.

"Hmmmm?" hummed Hitomi, as she closed her eyes.

Van was silent for a moment. "Don't leave me." Hitomi's eyes flashed open, and she lifted her head up off of his top. Van still stared straight ahead, his eyes focused on what was ahead of him. He then cleared his throat and continued. "Stay with me. Come back to Fanelia with me."

Hitomi blinked and continued to stare at Van. {I can't believe what he's asking me} Van looked over his shoulder from the corner of his eye and waited patiently for an answer. "Van ......" Hitomi tightened her grasp on Van's top and lowered her gaze. {What do I say? I had to make this decision once before. Do I leave my family, and stay with Van, or stay home and leave Van. Oh I don't know!} these thoughts swarmed in Hitomi's mind over and over. {What do I do?}

"It's all right Hitomi, I'll understand if you don't want to stay with me." said Van as he turned his attention back to the front. A sound of hurt rang in the words that he spoke. Hitomi's heart sank deeper then it was. She wanted to stay with Van but she didn't want to worry her family and friends. Hitomi was silent for the rest of flight back to the crusade, as she thought of the decision that she had to make.

(A few minutes later at the Crusade)

Millerna, Lila, Dwalden, and Merle stood outside of the crusade as Allen and his team mates arrived, and exited their guymelifs. Allen walked over to Millerna and kissed her, when they broke apart Allen stared deeply into her eyes.

"Allen? ....." stuttered Millerna, as her cheeks started to flush.

"Ohhhhhhh!!!! How romantic!" awed Lila as she clasped her hands and raised them to the side of her face.

"Bwah! Dwiscusting!" growled Dwalden as he stuck his tongue out.

"Where's Lord Van!" yelled Merle, as she looked around for Escaflowne.

Allen turned his gaze to Merle and smiled. "Don't worry Merle. He's on his way." a sigh of relief escaped Merle's lips.

Allens men started to bored the teirings and Scherazade on to the crusade. When they got the last teiring aboard the crusade a black dragon figure landed on the ground not to far away from the crusade, and a black figure leaped off of the back. Merle's tail started to wag back and forth. "LORD VAN!!!" she screamed excitedly, and she made a beam line towards the black figure. She leaped into the welcoming arms and she started to lick the side of his cheek.

"Hey! Stop that! That tickles!" chuckled a familiar voice.

Merle stopped in mid lick, and then she pulled her head back and she stared up at Ryu's face. There Merle stood in Ryu's grasp, his arms were wrapped around her mid waist, and he held her close. Her face went beat red and she started to think of some excuse. "Wha ... WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!!!!" shrieked Merle, as she tried to push herself away from him, but he didn't let her go. "LET ME GO!!!!!!" Merle hissed.

Ryu chuckled to himself as he watched Merle trying to get away from him. Merle glared at Ryu, and her face got more red. "You know." Merle's ears twitched, but she still kept on struggling to get away. "I don't know what part of you, that I like about." he said calmly as a smile spread across his face.

Merle froze, in Ryu's grasp, and she stared up at Ryu who was staring back down at her with passionate eyes. "Wha ......." but before Merle could finish her sentence, Ryu pressed his lips to Merle's and kissed her long and deep. Merle closed her eyes, as all thoughts started to fade away from her mind.

Ryu lifted his head and stared at Merle, who had her eyes still closed and her mouth still parched open from the kiss. She slowly opened her eyes and stared up at Ryu, a little confused, and startled at what had happened. She then heard Escaflowne land on the other side of the crusade and heard Allen welcoming Van and Hitomi back. Merle then shoved herself away from Ryu and bowed her head in embarrassment. She then lifted her head and saw Van, Van stared her way, but all she could do was smile back. A confused expression swept across Van's face, but a look of relief could also been seen.

"Your not going to go see (in girlie voice) Lord Van!" smirked Ryu as he raised his hands on to his hips, and eyed her suspiciously. Merle didn't say anything, she just looked down on the ground. "Well I guess I left an impression on you!" Ryu started to walk away, but then stopped and turned his head to the side. "Oh by the way! .... THAT! Was a kiss!" smirked Ryu and he started to walk off.

Merle growled under her breath, and she tightened her fists. "Damn that Ryu!" growled Merle under clench teeth. Then a hot breath breathed down her back, Merle slowly turned around to come face to face with a white dragon. Merle froze in fear, as the dragon snorted at her as he sniffed up and down her body, it then slowly opened it mouth. "I'm gonna die!" whispered Merle in a high pitch voice. The dragon's tongue flapped out of it's mouth and with one long wet lick, it slurped up her body. Merle's fur stuck on end as her whole front was drenched in dragon saliva. Merle pinned back her ears, as she raised her arms up and whipped them to get the wetness off. "Eeeewwwwww!!!!! RYU!!!!!!!!!" Merle then chased after Ryu into the crusade, shaking as she went.

(A hour later, inside the crusade on the deck)

Ryu, Lila, Dwalden and the white dragon stood outside of the crusade. Lila and Dwalden were waving good-bye, the dragon raised it's head and howled a deep mournful cry, and Ryu stood staring up at the crusade window, with his arms crossed. Hitomi, Van, Allen, Millerna, and Merle stood at the deck window and peered out at their new friends. Allen and Millerna were standing together in each others arms, and Millerna waved. Hitomi smiled and she yelled thank-you, hoping that they could read her lips. Van had his arms crossed and he nodded towards Ryu, and he waved his arm good-bye. Merle just stood on the deck her head still bowed down, she didn't even stare out of the window. Afraid to catch Ryu's piercing gaze. "Well Hitomi. Let's go home." said Millerna, as she tightened her grip on Allen.

{Ya home} thought Hitomi. She then raised her pendent in the air, and focused with all her might. {Send us home! Send us home to where we came from} There was a bright light as a beam of blue light engulfed the crusade, and then disappeared into the sky.

When the blue light faded away, everyone opened their eyes and peered out the deck window to see where they were. "Where are we now?" asked Reeden as he looked out the window.

Hitomi stared out the window and gasped and she then turned around and ran out of the deck. "Hitomi! Where are you going?" yelled Van and then he took off after her, and the other's followed.

(Outside of the crusade)

Hitomi stood outside of the crusade on the hard paved ground, and looked around her surroundings. "home" murmured Hitomi, and then a few seconds later the others joined beside her, and looked around.

"Ahhhh! NO! Not this place again!" moaned Merle, as she slumped down on the ground.

"Where are we?" asked Millerna, as she looked around at the strange sights.

"Welcome to Hitomi's world" cooed Merle. "The world of strangeness!"

"So this is the Mystic Moon!" awed Gaddess, but then went silent as a horse less carriage passed by them in the distance.

They all stared in disbelief at the sights when a voice broke there thoughts.

"Whoa! Now that was a trip!" came a smirk remark from behind the crusade.

"Lwet's do thwat again!!!"

"Oh shut up Dwalden!"

Van and the other's turned around to see Lila, Dwalden, and Ryu followed by his dragon came walking around the corner of the crusade. "RYU!!!!!!!" shrieked Merle and she bounded towards Ryu, and leaped on top of him and started to lick him. A look of shock appeared on Ryu's face, and a cough from behind her made her blush and push herself away from Ryu. She looked over at the other's who had a dumbfounded look on their faces. "Hee hee! Wellllll!!!!! hee hee!!" stuttered Merle as she patted the ground with her foot, and turned bright red. Ryu was speechless, and he didn't have anything to say for the first time in his life.

"DADDY!!!!!! MOMMY!!!!!!" yelled Lila and Dwalden as they ran up to Allen.

"DADDY??????? MOMMY??????" stammered Allen and Millerna as the twins wrapped around both of their waist's. Allen looked over at Millerna and Millerna looked over at Allen, and they both smiled at each other and nodded.

"How did you get here?" asked Van.

Ryu snapped back to reality and stared over at Van. "Well put it this way. When the strange blue light engulfed the crusade we sort of got sucked into it as well." Ryu smiled, and he looked over at Merle who made a quick glance at Ryu. Ryu smirked and he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close to him. "I'm amazed!" Merle looked up at him. "This is the longest that you ever shut up!" smirked Ryu.

Merle snarled and glared at Ryu. "WHY YOU !!!!!!" snarled Merle, but Ryu smiled as Merle began to make a fuss.

Merle began to fuss and curse at Ryu, and all he could do was smile. "Will you shut up!" he then broke her raven antics as he brought her into his arms and kissed her again. Merle's arms slowly slid to the side, and she started to kiss him back. Ryu then parted his lips from Merle and smirked. "There that's better!" Merle was dumbfounded and she didn't say a word.

Van shook his head and sighed, he then brought his attention to Hitomi. "Hitomi?" he whispered.

Hitomi lowered her head. "I have something to do first, I'll be back." sniffed Hitomi, and then she took off towards the road.

Van watched silently as Hitomi disappeared from sight.

(1 hour later)

Hitomi returned back to the crusade with tears in her eyes, the Van waited patiently by the crusade, and the others were inside the crusade. Van lifted his head, and he noticed Hitomi running up to him and he stood up as she came over.

"Hitomi?" said Van

Hitomi stood infront of Van, and a tear rolled down her cheek. "It's time." she whispered, Van nodded, and Hitomi raised her pendent in the air and closed her eyes. "Bye" A blue pillar of light engulfed the crusade and Van and the others were teleported away.

On Gaea

Van peered out over his balcony and looked down into the court yard of Fanelia. Ryu and Merle were out in the yard sitting beside Ryu's dragon holding on to each others arms, but then Merle started to scream and she pounced on Ryu and started to swat him. Van watched them as Ryu got up and started running around the yard as Merle chased after him, Van just smiled to himself. Allen, Millerna, the crew, and the twins had left right away and returned to Asturia, while they argued with the twins that they couldn't make anything to eat when they returned. Van then raised his gaze up to the mystic moon and sighed deeply as two arms wrapped around his waist from behind.

On Earth

Hitomi's mother entered Hitomi's room and walked over to her dresser by the window. There on the dresser laid a letter, addressed to her and her family. She grabbed the letter and opened it up, and began to read it out loud;

Dear Mom, Dad, and brother:

When you get this letter I will be gone. I'm sorry for worrying you and father for the time that I was gone. But I have fallen in love, and I must follow my heart, like you have taught me, ever since I born. I hope you'll understand and don't fret for I will be all right. I'll try to come and visit, when ever I get the chance, but I doubt it will be any time soon. For where I am is VERY far away. Please understand! And I will never forget you.

Hitomi's mother rested on Hitomi's bed and smiled to herself, she peered out her bedroom window and stared out at the night sky. "Bye my love! and happy birthday!" she whispered under her breath.

Back on Gaea, Fanelia

Van turned around and peered down at Hitomi, she wrapped her arms around Van's neck and pulled in closer against his chest, and smiled up at him. "This is the best birthday that I ever had!" whispered Hitomi, as she stared into Van's eyes. Van smiled back, and he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"It gets better!" he smirked, and he bent forward and kissed Hitomi passionately on the lips.

(giggling) I can't believe it she stayed with Van! Merle and Ryu are together, and the two orphans where adopted by Allen and Millerna. How could you asked for a better ending. (wipes away a tear) Well I would LOVE to hear from you, about what you thought about my story. I mean it I would. Good or bad. Hey you only learn from your mistakes right!
