The Vision of Escaflowne ~ The Dracoinian Sphere"

((It's now been three day's in the new world))

Chapter Six

"Huh? Where am I?" moaned Hitomi.

Hitomi was now in a different room, more elegant then the last one she was in. On the far wall hanging on the wall above a gigantic fireplace was an oil painting of a girl, that caught Hitomi's attention.

"What's that?" stammered Hitomi, as she slid herself to the side of the bed. "Huh!? What the!!" Hitomi stared down at her clothes.

She noticed that she wasn't wearing her track field uniform any more. Instead she wore a silk white lace pattern dress. The shoulders on the dress fit loosely around her shoulders, and they ended off a few inches before her elbows. The torso of the dress fit perfectly around her waist, and it had white beads on the front, making the designs of flowers. From the waist down the thin white fabric of the dress flown loosely around her bare legs, cutting off before her ankles. Hitomi jumped off the bed in shock, and examined the new outfit she was wearing. {But how did I get this on?} thought Hitomi. {The only person, that was with me before I passed out was Dravo ......<pauses> ..... Oh my gosh! Did he! Did he!} Hitomi brought her hands to her mouth, and her face went beat red, as images of Dravo changing her came into her mind. Hitomi felt disgusted with herself, and she craved to take a long hot shower. Slowly Hitomi wrapped her arms around herself, as a cold shiver ran down her spine. {Oh Van where are you?} a single tear shed from her left eye and trickled it's way down Hitomi's cheek. Hitomi then turned her gaze to the portrait on the wall, and noticed that the figure looked familiar. Slowly she walked over towards the fireplace and looked above the mantel. The portrait revealed a young woman around Hitomi's age, with brown straggly bangs and two braids that hung gently over each shoulder, she had hazelnut eyes, that were clear and innocent looking, she wore a long white beaded dress, and an amulet hung around her neck. {Hmmm. She looks familiar?} thought Hitomi, as she looked more closely at the picture.

"Huh? That amulet! It's the same one that I have!!" stammered Hitomi, as she stared at the small pink sphere amulet that was around the woman's neck. And then it hit Hitomi in a flash. "Grandmother? ......." Hitomi's eyes widened as a vision of her grandmother's past came to her.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Hitomi's vision)

{Huh? Where am I now?} thought Hitomi, as she looked around. She was standing in a large garden over looking a small town. Behind the garden was a huge castle. {Huh? Who's that?} Hitomi turned around to see a young boy around the age of 10 ,with long brown straggly hair, wearing black shoes, blue pants and a baggy white top come running into the garden. Then a few minutes later a young girl around the same age appeared wearing a white dress, running out to the garden after him. {That girl! .... Grandmother?} thought Hitomi, as she stared at the two children.

"Hee hee! Oh brother! Your sooo funny!" laughed Yuri, as she raised her left hand up towards her face to cover her mouth. "Father will be very angry with us, if he finds out!" said Yuri as she leaned over to catch her breath.

"Huff Huff! You worry too much sis." said the young boy, as he grinned at Yuri.

"I worry just enough, thank-you very much!" said Yuri, as she smiled back at him.

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!! WHO DID THIS!!!!" came a loud voice from inside the castle.

"Oh Oh!! We better go!!" said the young boy, and with that the two of them ran off.

{Grandmother had a brother?} thought Hitomi as she watched the two kids run off, and then disappear from sight. {She never told me that she had a brother!}

"Yuri!" came a loud voice from behind Hitomi.

Hitomi was now standing on the roof of the castle, and it was now dark out. Slowly Hitomi turned around to see the boy from the garden standing behind her. But he was much older now, he was around 20, and his hair was still straggly but it was now cut short, and he was wearing battle armor.

"Yuri! Where did you go!" boomed the boy.

Hitomi then looked beside her to see a young woman standing beside her, she was around 15 years old, and she wore a kimono.

((It's the same outfit she wore when she went to Gaea))

"I asked you a question Yuri! Where did you go! You where missing for two whole days!" boomed the boy again. He was getting more agitated when Yuri didn't answer him again. Then he noticed something in Yuri's hand. "What's this?" he then reached out and snatched the object from Yuri's hand.

"Nooo! Don't!" pleaded Yuri, as she went to grab it back from her brother.

"Hugf! What is it with you anyways!? What's so special about this amulet?" growled her brother, as he opened his palm to reveal the pendent.

{That's the pendent that Leon had given to her, when she was spirited to Gaea, and it's the same one that she had given to me} thought Hitomi as she watched the pendent in the boy's hand swing back and forth.

"Oh please give it back to me! It was a gift from ...." Yuri brook off before she could finish what she was going to say.

"A gift?" her brother glared at Yuri. "From some guy I suspect! Yuri you know better! You are the future queen of Dai Ginga, and you are to wed a king, not some peasant!" yelled her brother.

"It's nothing like that!" yelled Yuri, as she went to grab the pendent again. But her brother flung it over the side of the roof.

"Nooo!" wailed Yuri, as she bent over the side of the roof, she watched the pendent fall down towards the garden, and landed in some roses. "How could you!" she screamed, and with that Yuri ran towards the stairs and left her brother on the roof.

{Yuri! ....} thought Hitomi, as she clenched her fists and raised her left hand up to her chest.

"Oh where did it go!?" sobbed Yuri

Hitomi turned around and noticed that she was in the garden once again. {Man I'm getting dizzy!} thought Hitomi. But then she noticed a black figure rummaging through some flowers. {Grandmother? ....}

"Owww! Och!" muttered Yuri, as she rummaged through the thick rose bushes. "Why did he have to go and do that for! Oh where is it! ........ Huh? Ahh! Found it!" Yuri pulled her hands out from the bushes, her arms where all scratched up and were bleeding, but she got what she wanted, the pendent. Yuri grasped the pendent in her left hand and then she raised it above her head and lowered it on to her neck, she admired it for a few minutes around her neck, when a familiar voice brook her thoughts.

"Yuri!" boomed a deep voice.

Yuri turned around, and noticed her brother standing a few feet away from her. "Brother?" stuttered Yuri.

Her brother stared at Yuri, and then he noticed her arms. "Your bleeding Yuri!?" Her brother stepped forward, but then stopped abruptly, as he noticed the pendent radiating around Yuri's neck. "Yuri the pendent! It's glowing!"

Yuri looked down at the pendent, and gasped as the pendent started to get brighter. Then an eerie wind blew through the garden and the three moons in the sky turned bright red like blood. Yuri's eye's widened in horror as a horrible vision came before her eyes. When Yuri came back to her senses she turned around and stared at her brother. Her brother had drawn out his sword and was swinging it at a black figure.

"Yuri! get out of here!!!" yelled her brother.

"The girl! She's the one I want!!" came a hoarse voice. "The girl Hoshino! Come to me!" The black figure loomed over Yuri. Yuri sat there on the ground, staring in horror, for this was the vision that she had seen a few minutes before hand.

"Yuri RUN!!!!" screamed her brother.

Yuri stared at the black figure, and then noticed it split in two when her brother sliced through it with his sword. Yuri blinked and stared at her brother.

"YURI GET OUT OF HERE!!!!" screamed her brother.

She blinked and stared at her brother in shock, but then she came to her senses and she got to her feet and started to run towards the castle, when she reached the door entrance to the castle she turned around. Her brother still stood there, fighting the black figure with all his might, but to no avail.

"I'm getting tired of this game!" came a hoarse voice. "Enough with this charade!" and with that the black figure engulfed her brother.

"BROTHER!!!!!!" screamed Yuri, she started to run towards him but then stopped.

"NO YURI! GET OUT OF HERE! HE WANT'S YOU!!! RUN!!!" screamed her brother.

Yuri turned around and started to run, the next thing she new, she was standing on the roof over looking the garden. Yuri edged herself next to the side and peered over the side, and into the garden. But no one was there, not her brother, or the strange black figure.

"Yuri!" came a faint voice from behind her.

Yuri turned around to see her brother standing at the door, his head bowed down. "Brother!? Brother! your all right!" yelled Yuri, she started to run towards him but then stopped. A vision flashed before her eyes once again, and the pendent started to glow again to. "Your .... Your not my brother!" stuttered Yuri, as she started to back up.

"Oh! But yes I am!" snickered the boy. "I am too your brother!"

Yuri stared at the figure. It was too her brother, well at least her brother's body, but something was wrong. Then a dark shadow started to illuminate her brother's body. He slowly raised his head, and his eye's glowed an evil red.

"Who! Who are you!? And what did you do to my brother!" stammered Yuri, as she edged her way closer to the edge.

"quickly this way!" came faint voices from down the stairs. "hurry"

"Hee hee." Her brother started to walk towards Yuri. When he got half way towards her he stopped and dropped to his knees screaming in pain. "Quick Yuri! Get out of here! I ... I can't hold it back much longer!"

"Pestilent fool! The girl Hoshino will be mine, even if I have to destroy your soul in the process!" yelled a hoarse voice.

Yuri's brother screamed in pain as the black shadow engulfed him once again.

"Noooooooo!" screamed Yuri. By this time the guards reached the roof, and watched in horror as the Lord was being engulfed in the blackness.

"Y....Yuri run......!" stuttered her brother, before he collapsed on the ground.

"Noooooooo!!!!!! BAADO!!!!!!" screamed Yuri, and then the pendent around Yuri's neck illuminated and a blue pillar descended down from the heavens, and engulfed Yuri.

"Noooo! She mustn't leave!!" yelled Baado.

((Her real brother is now dead, and has been taken over by the evil presence.))

But it was too late for Baado to do anything but watch the girl Hoshino, being teleported away into the sky.

"Nooooooo! Argh!! I WILL find you and when I do, the world will be mine!" yelled Baado, as he raised himself off of the ground and glared at the sky.

Yuri opened her eyes and noticed that she wasn't in familiar grounds. Strange lights, and structures laid around her. "Where am I?"

"Are you all right?" came a gentle voice, from behind her. Yuri spun around and peered into the eyes of a handsome young man. "Are you all right? Are you lost? What's your name?"

"My name? My name is Yuri"

"Well Yuri, do you want to go too the fair with me, it will by pleasure if you accompany me."

{That must be my grandfather, and that means, that she is on Earth! And that my grandmother was originally from another world!} thought Hitomi, and then everything went black.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hitomi blinked her eyes, and realized that she was now back in the same room, that she had woken up in. "Oh what's going on! I don't understand." Hitomi laid herself on the ground, and started to cry. "Oh Van! Where are you!?" Hitomi curled herself up into a ball and cried.
